We are a film club screening every Wednesday in Bennigan's covered beer garden. Our goal is to bring together people who love watching (and making) films.
Bennigan’s Bar provides the venue, equipment (including a 120 inch movie screen) and support for the movie club screenings. The non-profit venture is believed to be the only one of its kind in the North West, with free popcorn and pizza included in the £4 admission.
Since our start in 2019, we've screened iconic films like Taxi Driver, The Goonies and Full Metal Jacket. We also put on fantastic enhanced screenings, like our Blade Runner evening, complete with noodles, music, and a discussion featuring film writer Paul M. Sammon and crime novelist Brian McGilloway.
