The Cathedral Quarter Trust (CQT) supports the development of Cathedral Quarter as the thriving hub of Belfast's cultural life. We organise Culture Night Belfast, the biggest evening in the city's cultural calendar.

It's Northern Ireland's largest , free Arts and Cultural Celebration representing the diverse and amazing talent that our city boasts! Culture Night takes place in September and brings together over 300 free events across 150 locations in Belfast City Centre in a single day. The event attracts over 100,000 visitors from Belfast, Northern Ireland and beyond.

Culture Night exists to support our Artistic and Cultural Sector by creating a evening of magic within our city centre. We animate public parks with music and performance , we transform unusual spaces into venues and encourage the public (young and old) to discover their curious selves and get involved!

We plan to return on Friday 18th September 2020 depending on the current Covid-19 Pandemic progress.

At last year's Culture Night and Day, special film events included the Skyway Club's collection of short remakes - their quirky takes on well-known movies. Then, the Masonic Hall on Rosemary Street opened its doors to the public for the first time, screening a programme of spooky films: Murder By Decree and The Haunting for adults on Culture Night, and Scooby Doo and The Goonies for families on Culture Day.
