Interactive Discussions for Film Lovers
CinePunked is a fusion of scholarly and popular approaches to film criticism. We bring interactive conversation about film to live audiences. We hope to open up difficult films and subjects to wider audiences and share our love of the medium. Our conversations are recorded for later release.
A few of our past events include: a screening of Clerks as part of Film Hub NI's Cinema Day; The Bridge, an evening of film and conversation on suicide and mental health; a Halloween screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show with live commentary; The Witches as part of the Cinemagic Film Festival; and our 'Masters of Cinema' workshops focusing on Alfred Hitchcock, Wes Anderson, Steven Spielberg and other great directors.
