The Strand Arts Centre is a not-for-profit charity which occupies an iconic 1935 art deco cinema.

It was set up to secure the survival of Northern Ireland’s oldest operational cinema. We have a daily programme of new release and cultural film; and weekly classic films for kids and older people. Our ‘Screen 4’ is our community cinema space - screening specialised and classic movies including 35mm film. We run a monthly heritage tour. We run workshops and mix film with other art forms such as literature, dance and theatre.
