Studio 34 is a multidisciplinary design collective based in the heart of East Belfast, Northern Ireland., set up by 3 artists within a shared studio space.
Studio34 presents: is a monthly film screening event set in our cozy studio in the heart of East Belfast. Our aim is to showcase a wide range of independent and international cinema, bringing often unheard stories from around the world to a diverse, Northern Irish audience.
We offer comfortable sofas and chairs, a HD projector, 5.1 surround sound, warm beverages and a roomful of people who share a curiosity of cinema. Screenings are accompanied by post-film discussions and, often, Q&A's with the filmmakers.
Studio 34's international screenings have included an evening of documentaries by Danish filmmaker Anders Skovbjerg Jepsen; a screening and director talk with Inma De Reyes (To Be a Torero), and Annabel Verbeke's We Will Remember Them.
