Belfast Media Festival website development tender

The Belfast Media Festival (BMF) is an annual event in Northern Ireland’s creative industries calendar and 2023 will be its 14th year in operation. Primarily supported by BBC NI and Northern Ireland Screen, the festival is the leading event for the local screen sector, and represents those working across film, TV, gaming, animation, audio platforms and more.

The festival primarily consists of a schedule of sessions/panels with industry speakers across 2 days, held in The MAC in Belfast, with social events also happening in nearby venues. This year the dates for the festival are 15th and 16th November. BMF attracts over 1000 attendees each year – from students and emerging talent to industry professionals, broadcasters and commissioners from NI, UK, ROI and beyond. The festival is completely free to attend, just requiring attendees to register in advance to obtain their ticket.

BMF is organised by a voluntary committee of professionals from across the sector, who meet regularly to ensure the smooth running of the festival, programme sessions and coordinate guests. The committee is supported by a freelance Event Producer. BMF is currently undergoing significant changes within its governance and structure and as such, is looking for a new website to host information and be a tool for use at the festival so schedules etc. can be easily accessed by attendees.
