Line-up announced for BFI Musicals tour; now booking

This year’s BFI blockbuster season is Musicals – the greatest song and dance season ever to grace UK cinema screens! Alongside a major season at BFI Southbank, UK-wide BFI releases, one-off special events and more, from October 2019 to January 2020 the Independent Cinema Office will be running a nationwide tour.

The 12 films in the BFI Musicals tour offer you some of the world’s most acclaimed and classic musicals as well as underseen titles ripe for discovery, celebrating their incredible artistry, spectacle and style.

Titles include A Star is Born (George Cukor, 1954), Cabaret (Bob Fosse, 1972), First a Girl (Victor Saville, 1935), Pakeezah (Kama Amrohi, 1972), and Singing Lovebirds (Masahiro Makino, 1939).

Hub members who book through the ICO receive

  • subsidised MGs and specially reduced terms on certain titles
