Cinemagic 2023: Moominvalley + Director Q&A with Darren Robbie

MOOMINVALLEY + DIRECTOR Q&A WITH DARREN ROBBIE - Join us for three exciting award-winning episodes from the acclaimed series, based on Tove Jansson’s beloved works. Darren Robbie, the director of the episodes, will be in attendance to introduce the showcase and answer audience questions before the screening.

Inventing Snork (Episode 1) - Moomintroll tries to help Snork make friends in the valley using his clever inventions. But Snork’s gifts backfire and Moomintroll asks him to be ‘less Snork’ to make folk like him.

Lonely Mountain (Episode 2) - Moomintroll cancels his hibernation to go find Snufkin in the mysterious Lonely Mountains instead. Snufkin doesn’t like that his solitude is disrupted and Moomintroll hurries off, into a storm.

Moominmamma’s Flying Dream (Episode 3) - Moomintroll learns of Moominmamma’s love of hot air ballooning and wants to make her youthful dream come true. Snorkmaiden and Sniff come along for the ride, but their plan hits a snag or two.
