Minors Club: The Princess and the Frog
Strand Arts Centre's Minors Club strand present the Disney classic The Princess and the Frog (2009)
Disney returned to classic, hand-drawn animation with this 2010 favourite. A waitress, desperate to fulfill her dreams as a restaurant owner, is set on a journey to turn a frog prince back into a human being, but she has to face the same problem after she kisses him.
After the screening children can also enjoy a workshop creating flick books and simple optical toys called thaumatropes. The workshop begins at 2pm and costs £2. Places are limited and booking options can be found at the link below – only child places are required to be booked.
This screening and workshop is supported by The Lasting Picture House project, made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to Into Film.
