North Circular + Q&A

North Circular is the multiple award-winning documentary musical that travels the length of Dublin's fabled North Circular Road, where local characters share their powerful and emotive stories, accompanied by traditional ballads and folk music.
North Circular conjures the ghosts of the past while engaging with the conflicts and celebrations of today, with a spooky folk-horror mood and a little bit of Dublin humour too.
Shot in atmospheric black & white in a 4:3 aspect, the film includes performances from the newest stars of the Irish folk scene which is based in the neighborhood including Lisa O'Neill, Ian Lynch (Lankum), John Francis Flynn, Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin and a special appearance by Gemma Dunleavy (Up De Flats).
North Circular has won awards at the Dublin, Louth and IndieCork Film Festivals and made its international premiere at Sheffield DocFest.
The screening on Sun 4 Dec will be followed by a panel discussion with North Circular director Luke McManus, Alison Millar (director, Lyra), and Declan Lawn (creator/writer, Blue Lights).
