The Northern Ireland Science Festival is a unique 11-day experience featuring a stimulating range of events focusing on the wonders of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

With over 200 events across 90+ venues, the NI Science Festival offers a stimulating and wide range of events focusing on the wonders of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These events present some of the best scientists from NI and beyond to discuss their work, cutting-edge research and what the future might hold.
During the day, the Festival offers a range of workshops, talks and interactive activities for young people, parents and schools. In the evening we will present an eclectic mix of scientific debate, talks, theatres, comedy, music and film for adults.
We've screened films like The Lorax and The Good Dinosaur at the Ulster Museum, and produced science shows like 'The Science of Harry Potter' to show kids the scientific principals behind their favourite films. Events like 'Immersed in Space' use short films and VR alongside panel discussions with leading experts. And we team fiction films with academic presentations to help audiences understand the world around us.
